Micron 64GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM Kit (4x 16GB)
Matched set of 4x Micron 16GB DDR4-2400 ECC RDIMMs — 64GB total. These are registered ECC sticks, which means they require a platform that supports RDIMMs: Intel C612, C602, C600 chipsets, LGA 2011-3, LGA 2011. Standard desktop boards won’t run these.
These sticks came out of an ASUS Z10PE-D16 dual-socket workstation — a system I tested fully before disassembly. All 4 sticks were recognized and running in BIOS. This is a matched set, not a grab bag.
The 2Rx8 organization means each 16GB stick uses 2 ranks with x8 chips — a common configuration with good compatibility across the C612 generation of server and workstation boards. Part number MTA18ASF2G72PDZ-2G3B1IK is directly on the label, readable in the close-up photo.
DDR4 ECC RDIMM pricing has surged roughly 90-95% year-over-year through Q1 2026, so if you’re chasing matched ECC kits for an LGA 2011-3 build, this is the kind of thing that’s only getting harder to find cheap.
